Image Folders
Simple manages images in virtual image folders that can be created, deleted, and rearranged from the management console. To create an image folder:
- Log in to Simple.
- Click on "Images" from the management console
- Navigate to the folder where you'd like to create a new sub-folder.
- Click on "Create New Folder"
- Type in a name for the folder and click "Create"
Renaming a folder:
- Navigate to your folder's parent folder.
- Click on the word "Edit" next to your folder's name.
- Type in a new name for your folder.
- Click "Update" to save the change.
Moving a folder:
- Navigate to your folder's parent folder.
- Click on the word "Move" next to your folder's name
- Select a new location for your folder from the list.
- Click "Move" to save the change.
Deleting a folder:
- Navigate to your folder's parent folder.
- Click on the word "Delete" next to your folder's name
- Click "Yes" to delete the folder, or "No" to return to the "Images" tab.
- (note: clicking "Yes" will delete the folder and all folders and images contained within it. Make sure that you've reviewed the contents of the image folder before deleting it.)
Moving and renaming folders will not change the actual location of the images, just their organization. Because of this, you can move and rename folders without breaking links to images or image galleries based on folders.
